Acting Dwarakish made his debut as an actor in the Kannada film industry with the movie Veera Sankalpain 1964 where he played a comedian. He went on to act in over 90 movies
Poduction: In 1966 Dwarakish co-produced the movie Mamatheya Bandhana under the banner of Thunga Pictures His first independent production venture was Mayor Muthanna in 1969 starring Dr. Rajkumar and Bharathi which became a box office success. He continued to produce successful films for the next two decades.
Direction From 1985 Dwarakish started directing movies. Some of his directorial works include Nee Bareda Kadambari Shruthi Rayaru Bandaru Mavana Manege" and Kilaadigalu
